Oklahoma Senator Dr. Tom Coburn is reportedly evaluating his future as the state's junior senator. Politico.com reports that in an interview with Coburn this week.
Coburn said when he's ready to make a decision he'll make an announcement.
"I'm a straight shooter," Coburn told Politico.com this week. "When I get ready to make a decision on what I'm going to do, I'm going to put it out there."
In November, Coburn's office said he had been diagnosed with a recurrence of prostate cancer.

Dr. Coburn underwent surgery for colon cancer in 2003 and prostate cancer in 2011.
Politico.com says Coburn may soon undergo major surgery that it says could force him to take a leave of absence from the U.S. Senate.
Coburn is in his second term of office which is up for election in November 2016.
