Cimarron Turnpike Closes After Semi Truck Wreck

Westbound lanes of the Cimarron Turnpike were closed after a single-vehicle wreck involving a semi truck Friday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The wreck took place at about 9:30 a.m. between the Cleveland and Hallett exits. The highway reopened at 2:50 p.m.

Emergency crews from several fire departments as well as the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded.

A viewer tells News On 6 that despite the damage to the truck, the driver walked away with only some bumps and bruises.
