Strong seismic activity continues in central Oklahoma, as another earthquake rumbled near Guthrie on Saturday evening.
The most recent earthquake was the sixth and the largest of the recent outbreak, measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale. It struck around 7:50 p.m., 6 miles south of Guthrie or about 21 miles north of the OKC metro, at a depth of just over 2 miles.
Five other tremors were recorded on Friday, all in between the cities of Edmond and Guthrie. Those quakes ranged from 2.7 and 3.1 in magnitude.
There has been no official word of damage or injuries related to any of the earthquakes.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
