A deadly hit and run was caught on camera Tuesday night. Police Need help finding the person who hit and killed 57-year-old Angela Young in mid-town Tulsa.

Cameras at the intersection of 3rd and Lewis may be the key to finding the person who drove through around 7 p.m. Tuesday night and hit Young as she tried to cross the street.

It's an area where a lot of people walk to the store, including the 57-year-old.

People said she walked to the grocery store regularly. She was using a walker to move past a clinic, where cameras caught her crossing the street Tuesday night.

Security guard Martin Ramos was there, right after Young was hit.

"I saw people in the floor try to pin the lady on the floor not to move," Ramos said.

He said Young was still breathing when he got to her, to help alongside other witnesses, but she didn't make it.

The video shows she was hit twice by a white Ford minivan.

"Hit her and you can see the bump, the car drive over," Ramos said.

When the van sped off, Ramos realized he had something that might help catch the driver.

"One person that was around there, he screamed, 'I tried to catch them but I couldn't. I lost them.' And then that's when I realized, 'Hey, wait! We probably got that in the camera,'" Ramos said.

While the driver was able to escape the scene, they can't escape the video.

"No matter what, that person could have stopped," Ramos said. "Now he's going to face more time for running away."

If that white Ford minivan looks familiar to you, police ask you to call 918-596-COPS. You could earn a cash reward.
