Police have made three arrests for the sexual assault and robbery of another woman last month in Tulsa.

Officers arrested Julie Joylynne Jones, 34, on Monday. On Tuesday, they made two additional arrests in the incident: Kevin Helton and Jessica Parsons.

Detectives said the two women tortured the victim for hours, hitting her, sexually assaulting her and keeping her tied up, because they were mad about something they thought she'd said.

Police said the rape and robbery occurred in a home in the 4900 block of South Cincinnati on March 1, 2014.

According to a police report, the victim, who we're calling Shannon, went to the house to collect money for yard work she'd done earlier in the day. She told police two women attacked her, beating her and tying her wrists and ankles with extension cords.

"Julie's pulling down my pants, other girl is hitting me, spitting in my face over and over and over. It was endless and every once in a while Julie would reach up and hit me with the gun," Shannon said.

She said the two women wore bandanas and hats to conceal their identity, but, she recognized Jones' voice. She said the women held a knife between her legs and did other things to humiliate and degrade her.

Sergeant Brandon Watkins with the Tulsa Police Department, said, "There's nothing I can think of that possibly justifies treating another human being like this."

Police said the women did it because they thought the victim said something insulting about Helton, which the victim denies.

She said she cried and tried to fight back, but the women put a gag in her mouth so she couldn't scream.

"The whole time I'm thinking, 'I'm dying today, nobody knows I'm here,'" Shannon said.

When the attack was over, the victim told police, the women stole her phone, ID, cash, jewelry and her 2000 Oldsmobile Alero.

Police say Jones admitted to the assault and to the robbery. They booked Jones into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of robbery with a firearm, kidnapping, rape and sexual battery.

Jail records show Jones was being held in lieu of $102,000 bond with a court appearance set for May 6, 2014. She also has outstanding warrants in Rogers County for possession of a controlled substance and larceny.

Helton has been booked on complaints of rape by instrumentation, armed robbery, kidnapping, and sexual battery - all after a felony conviction. He is also being held without bond for possession of methamphetamine.

Jessica Parsons was booked on complaints of kidnapping, rape by instrumentation, sexual battery, and armed robbery. She had previous charges of conjoint robbery and larceny from a retailer.

Police said even though Jones and Helton knew the victim, Parsons did not. They say when the other two asked her if she wanted to teach someone a lesson, Parsons agreed to join in the assault.
