Tulsa police are investigating a stabbing at a pawn shop near Eighth Street and Utica Avenue.

Officers told News on 6 that a man was walking out of the Easy Cash Solutions before 11 a.m. on Wednesday when he noticed people inside his car attempting to steal his property.

Police said they have good leads in the case. They said the suspects were inside Easy Cash and caught on camera as they were trying to pawn some items.

The dramatic scene unfolded in broad daylight Wednesday. Police used helicopters, K-9 units and officers on the ground to find the bold thieves.

Tonya Ross' son went into Easy Cash looking for games, but when he came out police said he found people breaking into his car.

"Somebody broke into my car and he said, 'Mama, somebody had broken into your car,' I said, 'I'm not worried about it," Ross said.

She may not have been worried, but her son was.

"He chased them around [the alley next to QuikTrip]," the victim's mother Tonya Ross said. "They stabbed him in the back, left him down there."

Police said when the victim confronted them, a woman stabbed him in the back.

"We are still trying to ID those suspects through some investigative leads," said TPD Sergeant, Justin Farley.

The man was able to give a description of his attacker and the men in the car before being taken to the hospital with a stab wound.

"He was able to give us very detailed information about the suspect and we also talked to  a number of witnesses," Farley said. "We believe the suspects were inside of this location and we have a positive identification for the suspects."

Farley said the thieves ran off, but because of the heavy foot traffic and easy access to vehicles in the populated area, investigators are unsure if a getaway car was waiting.

Police are looking for a white woman with a dark complexion and in her mid-50s. She is wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans and has a ponytail. The men are both described as white -- one of whom is medium height, slender, shirtless and has visible tattoos all over his body.

The victim was taken to a Tulsa hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Farley said.
