Embezzlement Alleged At Tahlequah Chamber Of Commerce

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the Tahlequah Chamber of Commerce after an allegation of embezzlement.

The OSBI was called in by the Tahlequah Police Department, according to a news release.

The release states the OSBI will be looking into the organization over the coming months to track how much money came in, who had access to the funds and how the money was spent.

They will then present the results of the investigation to the TPD and the district attorney's office. The DA's office will determine what - if any - laws were broken and by whom.
