Daughter Arrested, Husband Sought In Elderly Adair County Man's Murder

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested a man's daughter and is searching for her husband in the murder of an elderly Adair County man.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested a man's daughter and is searching for her husband in the murder of an elderly Adair County man.

Wayne Lee Wennerholm, 71, was found dead inside his Adair County home Sunday, July 13, 2014, according to a news bulletin from the OSBI. His daughter Janice Manken was arrested on a complaint of accessory to murder Monday night in Westville.

Authorities have issued a murder warrant for her husband: 40-year-old James Douglas Manken. Manken was spotted in Gentry, Arkansas on Monday, July 21, and may be headed to Southwest City, Missouri.

The Adair County Sheriff's Department requested OSBI assistance after  neighbors found Wennerholm dead in his home on North 4735 Road in Watts.
