Car Catches Fire Following Crash On Downtown Tulsa Highway

A car catches fire after it crashes into a downtown Tulsa highway concrete embankment early Friday. 

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of Highway 412 where it splits away from I-244 at about 2:30 a.m. 

By the time the Tulsa Fire Department arrived on scene, the driver was gone and the car was on fire. Police said it appears the driver lost control of the car causing the crash. The car was destroyed.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. 

Police are still looking for the driver.
