Police believe a man who attempted to rob a Walgreens Pharmacy early Saturday morning in Broken Arrow is the same man who robbed a Tulsa Walgreens just hours later.
Broken Arrow police say just before 9:00 Saturday morning, a man dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, gloves and wearing a Scream-style mask entered the Walgreens at 950 East Kenosha.
Police say the man went to the pharmacy, pointed a gun at the employees and demanded Hydrocodone.
Due to Walgreens policy of placing high profile drugs in a time delay safe, police say the employee was unable to get the Hydrocodone to the robber fast enough and the man left.
According to reports, a witness watched the suspect leave and said the vehicle was last seen heading west on 36th Street South and 145th East Avenue in Tulsa.
Broken Arrow Police said they notified Tulsa Police about the man.
Around 11 a.m. Saturday, Tulsa police say a man with the same description jumped the pharmacy counter at the Walgreens on Southwest Boulevard near I-44 demanded pain killers and left.
The man is described as a black male around 5-feet-10-inches tall. They said he was last seen in a silver, four-door Dodge Neon or a similar style vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
