The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify a body found in west Tulsa.

Thursday, deputies responded to a report of a body in a grown area near the 4400 block of West 56th Place, a news release says.

It says investigators are having trouble identifying the body but believe it is a white male – they are not sure of an age range.

According to the report, they were able to identify tattoos on the body. The first directly over the naval with the initials “RIP.” The second was a heart dripping blood with a top rocker of “wicked” and a lower rocker of “love” located high on the right thigh. The third tattoo, an outline of a heart, was located behind the left knee.

Investigators say they are hoping someone will recall the tattoos to help identify the body.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tulsa County Sheriff's Investigators at 918-596-8669.
