Business is blooming at the Tulsa Botanic Garden.

Staff members announced this morning they have received more than $10 million to put toward the growth of the garden.

Over the next two to three years, the area will be completely transformed, officials say.

It's part of a $17 million campaign called "Reaching for Generations.”

The $10 million raised so far will go toward building four gardens on 18 acres of land.

The gardens will be designed by three prominent landscape architects, one being Howell and Vancuren from Tulsa.

"We've been working on this for over two years...” President and CEO of Tulsa Botanic Garden Todd Lasseigne said. “And we had a lot of input from our board. We've had some input from the community to what kind of things might appeal to people and other things that might express the diversity of things

that we can do in Oklahoma."

If you want to see the garden for yourself, it is every Saturday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
