Tulsa Police To Answer Missing Persons, Homicide Questions At Fair Saturday

Tulsa Police Homicide and Missing Persons detectives will be at the River Spirit Event Center for the Tulsa State Fair Saturday.

The police department has a visitor's booth on the west end of the upper level, and detectives will be ready to answer questions about missing persons and unsolved homicide cases, according to a news release.

"Detectives also will be available to obtain 'Family Reference DNA' samples from as many family members of missing persons as possible," the release states.

"The DNA samples will be taken by using a buccal swab from inside the mouth. These samples can be invaluable when it comes to solving a missing persons' case."

The River Spirit event center is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. though the midway is open through midnight Saturday, October 4.
