Family & Children's Services Kicks Off Care Card Campaign

Tulsa's Family and Children's Services kicked off its 16th Care Card fund drive Tuesday.

Tulsa's Family and Children's Services agency kicked off an event Tuesday morning that marks the start of the Christmas shopping season for thousands of Tulsans.

This is the 16th year for the Care Card, which has raised more than a million dollars for Family and Children's Services.

News On 6 Anchor, Terry Hood had the pleasure of once again emceeing this year's kick off at Utica Square.

When you buy a card for $60 dollars, the proceeds go to Family and Children's Services, then, for ten days you'll get up to a 20 percent discount at more than 200 local stores and restaurants.

The savings last from Friday, October 24th until Sunday, November 2nd.

You can buy a Care Card at Family & Children's Services at 650 South Peoria or online. All of the money raised goes to Family & Childrens Services.
