I-40 WB Reopens In Caddo County Following Semi Fire

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at 12:42 p.m., crews shut down the westbound lanes of I-40 at mile marker 93, due to a semi/tanker that's on fire.

Interstate 40 westbound was closed in Caddo County, Oklahoma, for nearly two hours, as crews worked to extinguish a semi-truck fire Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at 12:42 p.m., crews shut down the westbound lanes of I-40 at mile marker 93, due to a semi/tanker that's on fire. 

Crews were able to put out the fire. The westbound lanes reopened at 2:30 p.m. 

No injuries were reported.
