Firefighters Put Out Midtown Tulsa Garage Fire

Firefighters battled a garage fire near 19th and Peoria on Wednesday afternoon.

Thick black smoke could be seen for some distance from the Swan Lake neighborhood.

Firefighters said the garage was under renovation, and the crew doing the work had already left the job site before the fire began.

There were no serious injuries.

The cause still is under investigation.
