Head-On Crash Kills Motorcycle Rider In Cherokee County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a McAlester man died after his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was driving crashed into a minivan Wednesday evening.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a McAlester man died after his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was driving crashed into a minivan Wednesday evening.

Troopers said 55-year-old Jessie Million died at the scene on Highway 10 north of Tahlequah in Cherokee County.

The OHP say Million was driving north on the highway when he failed to negotiate a curve and went left of center, hitting a 2008 Dodge minivan head on.

The minivan's driver, John Cornsilk, 80, and a passenger, Tinsey Cornsilk, 77, both of Tahlequah were not injured in the 7 p.m. crash.
