Plumbing issues have forced the Walmart at Admiral and Memorial to temporarily close.
According to Walmart representative, Erica Jones, the problem will require extensive repairs and the store will close at 7:00 Monday night until repairs are made.
“We will immediately begin the process to address these issues and intend to reopen the store as soon as all of the plumbing issues are resolved,” Jones said.
Jones said deciding to close the store wasn't easy, but said it was necessary to make the repairs to better serve their customers and the community.
Other Walmarts across the United States are experiencing similar problems. Plumbing issues at two Texas Walmarts are forcing stores in Midland and Livingston to close for six months.
Another store is Tampa is experiencing the same fate.
