Overturned Semi Causing Major Traffic Problems Near I-44, I-40

A rollover crash involving a semi at the westbound ramp of Interstate 44 to I-40 is causing causing major traffic delays for commuters, Tuesday night.

Emergency crews were called out to the scene just before 7 p.m.

Authorities tell News 9 that the semi was loaded at the time of the crash and Hazmat has been called to the scene. It is unclear how many other vehicles may be involved in the crash.

The crash has the WB I-44 ramp to EB I-40 shut down as well as the outside EB lane on I-40. No word on when the roadways will be reopened.
