Osage Tribe Centenarian Blessed On Her Birthday

A treasured member of the Osage Tribe received a special blessing and prayer Tuesday in honor of her 100th birthday.

Friends and family members of Marguerite Dennison gathered at her home in Cleveland, Oklahoma, as Osage Mineral Council chairman Everett Waller prayed for and blessed them all. 

Dennison's mother and grandmother were original allottees of the Osage Tribe. 

She shared her secret of a long life.

"I guess just trying to live a good life and always believing in God and counting my blessings everyday," Dennison said.

This makes the third time Marguerite has been on TV. Back in 1950, she was KOTV's Mother of the Year.
