Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Spokesman On Administrative Leave

The spokesman for the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is on administrative leave.

A source tells me Major Shannon Clark is the subject of an internal affairs investigation right now.

Sheriff Stanley Glanz says it is a personnel matter, so that's all he'll say about it at this moment.

We've contacted Major Clark for a comment but haven't received a response.

In a news release, Sheriff Glanz said Clark has been placed on administrative leave, with pay, pending further review and evaluation of Clark's job duties and work performance.

The release said Chief Deputy Michelle Robinette will assume the administrative responsibilities for the operation of the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center but the office later corrected that and said Captain Eric Kitch will take that role.

Terry Simonson will assume the public information officer responsibilities during Major Clark's absence.
