Tulsa BBB Cooperating With OSBI Investigation Involving State Senator

The Eastern Oklahoma Better Business Bureau says it is cooperating with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation into allegations of misappropriation of funds under former COO Rick Brinkley.

The Eastern Oklahoma Better Business Bureau says it is cooperating with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation into allegations of misappropriation of funds under former Chief Operations Officer Rick Brinkley.

Brinkley, an Oklahoma State Senator, is no longer with the organization.

"Following its own internal investigation, on April 26, 2015, the board terminated Mr. Brinkley's employment," a news release states.

The OSBI announced Monday that they had been asked by the Tulsa County District Attorney to investigate possible crimes within the Tulsa Better Business Bureau.

Brinkley serves District 34 in the Oklahoma State Senate. He represents portions of Owasso, Collinsville, Skiatook, Sperry, Turley and Tulsa. He was also a pastor of a Collinsville church.
