Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released additional information about a Verdigris hit-and-run wreck that killed one teen and left another in critical condition.

Authorities now say two young women pedestrians were hit sometime between 3 and 4 a.m. though the incident wasn't discovered until at least another hour had passed.

Two brothers have been arrested in the deadly wreck.

A collision report released Saturday states Noelle New, 18, and 19-year-old Maranda Talley were walking on the eastbound lane of Gordon Road when a pickup crossed the center line and hit them, the OHP said. The driver of that truck, 19-year-old Catoosa resident Gage Shriver, continued through a field and crashed into a fence, according to the OHP.

Shriver drove from the field to a nearby residence and left the truck there, the report states. Shriver's 21-year-old brother Dakota Shriver, a passenger in the pickup, was also arrested in connection with the wreck.

New, a Claremore resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Talley, also from Claremore, was taken by Air Evac to a Tulsa Hospital. Her family says she suffered multiple injuries to her head, arms and body including extensive facial lacerations.

They have set up a fundraising page to help cover her medical expenses.
