Sinkhole Closes Westbound Lane Of Turner Turnpike Near Stroud

Westbound traffic on the Turner Turnpike west of Stroud has been narrowed to one lane after a sinkhole occurred in the roadway early Thursday. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the sinkhole is located in the inside westbound lane at mile marker 175. 

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority says repairs are expected to keep the lane closed for the next day or two.
