Turley firefighters say the home from where a 4-year-old boy went missing is now the site of a suspicious fire and the State Fire Marshal is now investigating.

The Turley Fire Department was called to a fire at the home in the 6500 block of North Norfolk about 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

Fire investigators say the fire started when no one was at the home Wednesday morning. A neighbor called 911 when she saw smoke pouring out of a broken dining room window.

"It sounded like a gunshot, a Boom...it's hard to tell,” neighbor Kim Redeagle said.

Turley Assistant Fire Chief, Ben Hatcher said, "There was a window that broken in, into the room that was on fire. So that was our biggest concern that this was an arson fire."

Firefighters said they immediately thought the fire looked suspicious, especially since the residents are jailed for child endangerment after a 4-year-old went missing on Tuesday and was found a half mile away five hours later.

The state Fire Marshal Investigator said he's not ready to call it arson.

Meanwhile, we found out the 4-year-old, Landon Bratton's dad is in the Rogers County jail.

Landon is staying with his aunt.
