The Rogers County Sheriff's Office has released a composite sketch of a man it says raped a homeless woman on Monday, July 13, 2015.

The man was driving a beige extended-cab pickup on Highway 169 near 36th Street North when he first made contact with the woman, according to Captain Jerry Smittle, RCSO.

Authorities say the woman was walking north on the highway when the man pulled up and offered her a ride. He took her to the Caney River bridge area and told her she was going to have sex with him. When she refused, he beat her severely as she protested.

After sexually assaulting the woman, the man left her naked at the scene. A passerby found her and called 911.

The woman is not from the area and is homeless, Smittle said. She is cooperating fully with detectives and recovering from her injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male between 45 to 50 years old. He is 5'5" and 170 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a large stomach, according to authorities.

If you recognize this man, call Rogers County Sheriff's Office at 918-341-3620.
