Flat Tire Stalls Tulsa Armed Robbery Suspect

A man was arrested after an armed robbery at the Stonecrest Apartments early Sunday. Police found him changing a tire in the complex parking lot.

Tulsa Police are investigating an armed robbery near 41st and 129th East Avenue. Keaundrey Carter was after a man and woman were robbed in the breezeway of their apartment complex.

Police found Carter fixing a flat after the armed robbery.

Officers were called to Stonecrest Apartments around 4 a.m. after two people were robbed at gunpoint. The victims lost a Samsung phone and some other personal items as they weren't carrying any money, according to an arrest report. 

The victims told police they thought the man who robbed them was still in the area, and officers drove through the parking lot.They found Carter changing a tire in the parking lot. He matched the suspect description, and the victims identified him as the robber.

Carter, 19, was booked on a complaint of robbery with a firearm. Police questioned another man at the scene, but he was not arrested.
