Man's Body Found In Tulsa Creek Bed

<p>Law enforcement is investigating after a body was found in a creek in Tulsa County near Sand Springs.</p>

Law enforcement officials are investigating after a man's body was found in Tulsa County Saturday morning. Tulsa County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the scene near the District 12 Levee after a passerby found the body.

Authorities say there are some sign of trauma to the body, though the medical examiner will determine cause of death.

The man's body was lying in the creek bed at the bottom of a bridge in Big Heart Creek at 7th Street, just west of 65th West Avenue.

Deputy Justin Green, public information officer with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, said a passerby found the body around 8:30 a.m. A bicycle was found near the body.

The area was blocked off as the man's body was recovered, but it has been re-opened to traffic.
