Garage Fire Heavily Damages Tulsa Home

Tulsa firefighters have extinguished a house fire in the 4600 block of North Iroquois Tuesday morning.

Firefighters said a next door neighbor spotted the smoke just after 7 a.m. and thought the homeowner may have been inside.  After a search of the home, firefighters said no one was home.

The fire department believes the fire which caused extensive damage to the home may have started in the garage. 

Investigators are still trying to determine what sparked that fire.
