Students from the Oklahoma School for the Blind are giving back to a local organization as a "thank you" for all its help.
A group of students worked on Thursday at Sapulpa's First Baptist Church, serving lunch to members of the Lions Club and others.
Teachers say the club has been a big support to the students, often paying for school trips.
The students say it's their turn to show support for the community.
"Even though I can't see there's so much that I can do as a blind person just as much as everybody else,” student Jennifer Ratliff said. “The only big difference is that we might do it in a different way."
Each ticket cost $8, and the money raised will go to support the Lions Club.
