'One Race: The Human Race' Theme Of Tulsa MLK Jr. Parade

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Tulsa is home to one of the largest parades in the honoring his legacy. 

This  year's theme is "One Race: The Human Race."

The parade begins at 11 a.m. near the OSU-Tulsa campus. It starts on John Hope Franklin Boulevard, at Martin Luther King Boulevard.  Entries will turn southbound on Greenwood Avenue then turn west on Archer Street.

Temperatures are expected to be only around 26 when the parade gets started, so be sure to bundle up. 

Drivers should remember there will be street closings in the area of OSU-Tulsa and ONEOK Field.
