The Martin Luther King Jr. Walk In Peace and Commemorative Service are scheduled for Sunday in Tulsa.
The events honoring the legacy of Dr. King begin at 5:30 p.m. at Boston Avenue Methodist Church with the Walk In Peace. The procession will form at 7th and Cincinnati at 5:15 p.m., and a shuttle service will be provided to the church at 13th and Boston.
The MLK Interfaith Commemorative Service begins at 6 p.m. at Boston Avenue Methodist. Dr. Ray Owens, Pastor, is the keynote speaker. Nursery services will be available.

Admission is free to the MLK Founder's Community Breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 18, at 1414 North Greenwood Avenue. It is hosted by the First Baptist Church North Tulsa and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
The Parade begins at 11 a.m. at Detroit and John Hope Franklin Boulevard. It will go east on Franklin to Greenwood Avenue and through the Greenwood Business District to Archer. The route then turns west on Archer to Elgin.
This year's theme is "One Race: The Human Race."
