OU Football: Stadium Renovation Nears Completion

Renovations continue to move along at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

More than 1,000 club seats are being added to the south side of the stadium, and they are on schedule to be ready for the start of the season.

The athletic department says the motivating factor was having the addition on display by the Ohio State game September 17th.

“It's not an unstated goal that we need this done by the Ohio State game,” said OU Executive Associate Athletics Director Larry Naifeh. “It's very clear that that element rolled into the time schedule of not delaying it a year, not building it between two seasons but getting it done by 2016.”
