Investigators say 39-year-old Cedric Lamont Norris dressed as a woman and robbed the Bank of Eufaula Thursday morning.

In the process, investigators say he killed the bank president, Randy Peterson.

The FBI said Norris tried to take one employee hostage, but shot her when she resisted. They say he then took a customer hostage and drove off.

A trooper spotted the stolen SUV Norris was driving and stopped him. OHP said Norris fired several times and they fired back and killed him.

Norris’ hostage was also shot as he used her as a shield.

We’re told both the hostage and the injured bank employee will recover.

Records show this isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble with the law.
