Police say a man being rushed to the hospital after he was stabbed at a birthday party may have led to a Tulsa crash early Saturday.
Officers said stabbing took place at about 1:40 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Lansing. After getting the victim into an SUV, family members headed to the hospital.
Tulsa Police say at Pine and Martin Luther King Boulevard, the driver of the SUV rear-ended a car stopped for a red light. They said he jumped out and ran. Officers found him a short time later hiding behind a nearby credit union building suffering from a broken foot. EMSA took him to the hospital.
The stabbing victim and another passenger in the car were also taken to the hospital for injuries suffered in the crash.
In addition, the driver of the car was taken to the hospital as well to be checked out.
Police are still investigating the stabbing incident.
