The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested a pickup driver involved in a wrong way head-on crash on Interstate 44 in west Tulsa early Monday.

Troopers said the DUI crash happened just before 3 a.m. in the westbound lanes near West 55 Place.

The OHP says Ronald McDonald III, 24, of Broken Arrow, was headed east in the westbound lanes when his white Dodge pickup hit a black pickup headed west.  Troopers said a family of three, including a baby were in the other pickup.  None of them were injured.

McDonald was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, driving the wrong direction and failing to keep in the proper lane.

Jail records show Ronald McDonald has a court appearance set for June 7.
