Tulsa Police are investigating a bank robbery Thursday morning. Officers were called to the Bank of America located at 5950 East Admiral Place around 9:30 a.m.
Sergeant Jerrod Hart said a man in his 50s came into the bank and handed the teller a note in a ziplock bag demanding money. The robber implied he had a weapon.
The man left after the teller complied. He was seen going westbound on Admiral Place, then he turned south, the officer said.
Hart said they interviewed a witness outside who saw the robber approach the bank on foot through the parking lot. He's about 6''1" in height, 220 pounds.
Police said the robber generally matches the description of the man who robbed an Arvest Bank Saturday. That man has been identified as Jesse Leaverton - a felon convicted of bank robbery in 2012.
