Police arrested a 33-year-old man early Thursday after they say he threw potted plants at officers following a disturbance at a Tulsa bar.

He was identified as Nicholas Cardonia of Tulsa.

Just after 1 a.m. officers were called to Kilkenny's Irish Pub and Grill on Cherry Street.

Upon arrival, officers learned Nicholas Cardonia had left and climbed onto the roof of an apartment building in the 1400 block of South Rockford.

As police approached Cardonia, officers said he climbed down to a second floor balcony and threw potted plants and broken pottery at the officers.

Police along with a K9 officer took Cardonia into custody after using pepper balls.

Nicholas Cardonia was taken to the hospital to be checked out then booked into the Tulsa County on complaints of public intoxication and obstructing officers.

Jail records show he has a court appearance set for August 15th.
