A woman riding a skateboard is on life support after a Tulsa hit-and-run driver hit her Saturday evening, according to Tulsa Police. Officers said the 21-year-old woman was riding westbound in the curb lane of Admiral Place near Gary Avenue. Shortly before 5:30 p.m., a westbound pickup hit her and kept going.

Police said EMSA took her to the hospital where she was placed on life support with many injuries. Her family has been notified, officers said.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white mid-90s single cab, long bed pickup. It may have a red or maroon right front quarter panel and a chain for a tailgate.

Witnesses said a man - possibly in his late 20s to early 30s - was behind the wheel.

If you think you recognize the truck, call police or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
