Man Dead In Coffeyville, Kansas House Fire

Coffeyville, Kansas authorities say a 46-year-old man died in a house fire Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 300 block of West 3rd Street at around 7:30 a.m. As they arrived, firefighters said they could see fire through a bedroom window.  

Fire Chief James Grimmett told KGGF Radio, said Edgar Leroy McIntire was found dead inside the home.  

He says the cause of the fire remains under investigation, adding the State Fire Marshal's Office has been called in as well.  The state Fire Marshal's Office says they were asked to provide an arson dog as part of the investigation.
