OSU Student Found Dead Inside Frat House

The Stillwater Police Department is investigating an unattended death at Sigma Chi Frat House at Oklahoma State University.

According to Stillwater police, they were called to the Sigma Chi house located at 1101 W. University at 1:30 p.m. in regards to an unresponsive person.

Officers say they found 20-year-old Brandon Matthew Cavazos, of Bedford, Texas, a member of the fraternity, dead in his room after friends called 911 when they found him unresponsive in bed.

There were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play at the scene, police say.

The medical examiner will determine a cause of death after further investigation.
