Caught On Camera: SUV Hits Wheelbarrow On Tulsa Highway

An unlucky driver ran into a wheelbarrow in the middle of a Tulsa highway Thursday morning and it was caught on one of our Osage SKYCAM cameras.

The wheelbarrow was in one of southbound lanes of Highway 169 near 61st Street.

A number of drivers dodged the obstacle, but one SUV couldn't, hitting it head-on.  The SUV then dragged the wheelbarrow down the highway until it could pull over on the shoulder.

A few minutes later, Oklahoma Department of Transportation workers showed up and picked up the wheelbarrow.
