A suspected intruder who was shot in November died from his injuries early Friday morning.
Tulsa Police say Leon Crockett was shot at an apartment complex on November 19, 2016.
Police say officers responded to the scene after the apartment’s resident called, saying she shot an intruder.

When officers arrived, they found Crockett in the kitchen, suffering from gunshot wounds.
They say he was taken to the hospital until he died just before 5:00 a.m. Friday.
Tulsa police said they interviewed the woman claiming to be the shooter and several other witnesses. No arrests were made at the time, but the case remains open.
TPD said the initial investigation showed the female caller’s information could be true, but the reasoning for Crockett to be in her apartment is in dispute.
They say there is information Crockett knew the shooter and that there may have been an accusation of theft from the shooter by Crockett.
They ask anyone with information leading up to the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS, the Homicide Tip Line at 918-798-8477 or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org.
This is the city’s 73rd homicide of 2016.
