Tulsa Police say a man who slammed into a patrol car Saturday night was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI (third or more offense).  An officer was on a traffic stop near 41st and Memorial around 9:20 p.m. when her car was hit from behind - despite having the flashing emergency lights activated, records show.

The patrol car spun around and struck a Ford pickup, according to police.

Callie Logan Childress, 27, was taken into custody. Police said he had a bottle of vodka in his car that had been partially consumed.

The officer in the patrol car had very minor injuries and continued with her shift. Childress also had minor injuries. He was arrested for felony DUI, third or more offense, and improper use of traffic lane.
