Tulsa-area law enforcement agencies are asking officers and deputies from across Oklahoma to meet at Tulsa's Creek Nation Council Oak Park at 6 p.m. Monday, May 15.

They'll hold a candlelight memorial service for the three Oklahoma officers who died this year.

"We had three officers who lost their lives. And we think it is very important we don't forget that," said Major Coy Jenkins, Rogers County Sheriff's Office.

The three officers being honored are Tecumseh Officer Justin Terney, Logan County Deputy David Wade, and Craig County Deputy Sean Cookson.

Creek Nation Council Oak Park is located at 1750 South Cheyenne Avenue. The service is being held during the 2017 National Police week. Monday is Police Memorial Day.
