Police arrested a Tulsa man and woman early Sunday morning for armed robbery, eluding police, and hit and run.

According to police, Antonio Monroy and Maria Monroy approached the victims in a driveway somewhere in the 2000 block of North Columbia Avenue.

Police say Antonio produced a shotgun, pointing it at one of the victims and demanding he get out of his car. Both suspects then got into the car and drove off.

Shortly after the robbery, police were able to locate the stolen car driving in the area of East Haskell Street and North Yale. The suspects failed to yield to the officers and sped away.

The short pursuit ended after the suspects hit several other vehicles and crashed.

Maria Monroy, who was driving the stolen car, was stuck inside after the wreck and quickly arrested. Antonio Monroy ran from police for a few blocks before getting caught.

Antonio Monroy is an ex-convict and has multiple felony convictions.
