Salvation Army Accepting Hurricane Harvey Relief Donations In Tulsa

Friday, The Salvation Army in Tulsa will be set up at the Reasor's on 41st and Peoria to accept donations for Hurricane Harvey relief.

"The best thing people can do is provide funding. We can get donations to the site faster than anything else and use it to purchase what is specifically needed by the affected community," said Captain Ken Chapman. 

He says supplies needed for Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts include:

Baby Supplies

  • Formula
  • Baby food
  • Bottles
  • Pacifiers
  • Diapers
  • Wipes

Hygiene Products

  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Razor
  • Deodorant
  • Hair brushes and combs
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Body wipes
  • Hand sanitizer

The Salvation Army says as of August 30, they have served 57,099 meals, 27,224 snacks, and 41,603 drinks across Texas in response to Hurricane Harvey.
