New Tulsa Thrift Shop Sells Goods For A Good Cause

You can get a good deal and help a great cause at the same time. Family & Children's Services cut the ribbon Thursday, October 5, on its new thrift store, Goods for Good.

The thrift store is located at 724 South Utica, and it will help fund the non-profit's work as state funding drops. It will also employ former clients of Family & Children's Services. 

"Those who have found employment barriers who we believe would be very successful working here," said Gail Lapidus of Family and Children's Services. 

Tulsa County donors interested in donating to the thrift store can drop off goods or call for a pickup. You can call them at 918-340-5040.

The new thrift store is only Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
