A second person has died after a weekend plane crash in Alva, authorities said.
Cory Washburn, 39, died at 6:43 a.m. Tuesday, according to a spokeswoman with INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
David Chael, 61, died at the scene Saturday. Both men were experienced pilots.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol crash report, Washburn was piloting when the engine cover opened. Chael took over. As the landing gear lowered the front tire struck a power line and the plane crashed on its top.
