OKC Police Arrest Mother Of Alleged Drug Dealer For Death Threats

The mother of an alleged Oklahoma City drug dealer is charged with threatening to kill an Oklahoma City undercover police officer. Allegations against 55-year-old Margery Weed are contained in an arrest warrant filed Wednesday.

Weed’s son, 20-year-old Brandon Weed, is facing six drug-related felonies, and is in the Oklahoma County Jail. His bond is one million dollars.

Police say they intercepted jailhouse phone conversations between Brandon and his mother. Police say Margery repeatedly threatened to kill the police officer who arrested her son.

“We’re always on high alert where we hear about threats,” said Oklahoma City Capt. Bo Mathews. “If somebody is going to threaten somebody who’s supposed to be protecting people, it does go to a higher level."

Margery was booked into jail Wednesday. She was released Thursday after someone posted her $10,000 bail.
